“Brian Shaw out – Magnus Ver Magnusson in”

The reigning World’s Strongest Man Brian Shaw tore his bicep at the Arnold Strongman Classic and the further examination result was “Full bicep rupture with significant retraction”. Surgery today and we all wish Brian to get well soon!

United Strongmen™ will confirm the new athlete replacing Brian´s spot to WSM Experience in one weeks time.

We have added 4-time World´s Strongest Man Magnus Ver Magnusson to our referee cavalcade which increases the amount of WSM winners at WSM Experience.

The King of the Castle™ – A True World´s Strongest Man Experience™ is opening ticket sales in 3 days time. Tickets will be available to buy at www.heavyevents.fi. The event starts on 21^stApril at 1PM when top Finnish and a few international strongwomen are battling out about the “Queen” title. Directly after the ladies competition, the gladiators are released to the arena for the first 3 events (weight over bar medley, arm over arm pull and farmers walk/sack loading medley).

The Queen competition and the 3 first events for the men are included to the basic ticket of 10€, which will be on sale at www.heavyevents.fi, Häme Castle information and also from the gate.

At around 4.30 PM the male competitors are entering to the castle with maximum of 200 spectators, who will witness the final events (log lift max, deadlift and the atlas stones)…The Finals ticket (39€) includes the same as the basic one, but also the 3 last events and a buffet dinner in the castle restaurant along with the prizing ceremony. The final tickets can be purchased only from www.heavyevents.fi and there´s only 200 tickets available due the safety regulations of the castle.

 " I feel sad due Brian´s injury - First of all he can´t use all the benefits from his championships year and secondly there is plenty of people in Finland who were waiting to see him live. I hope his recovery  goes well and he could participate to our second WSM Experience for 2013. For the competition, I´m sure we find soon some very good replacer for Brian and to make our happening still one of a kind we added Magnus Ver to our list of referees - 3 former WSM´s refereeing - talking about premium quality judgements by the people, who really know what the sport of strongman is about, says US founder Jyrki Rantanen"
